Description |
SensiStain™ Anti-p27 Antibody detects for the presence or absence of p27 or 27 Kip1, a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor that binds to and inhibits cyclin-dependent kinases, thereby regulating progression from G1 to S phase. It has been associated with poor prognosis in certain cancers, such as colon carcinoma, small breast carcinomas, non-small-cell lung carcinoma, and hepatocellular carcinoma, when p27 levels are decreased in expression. |
